The new Dodge Durango is available with numerous V6 and V8 ending layouts for customers to choose from. The standard powertrain of the Dodge Durango is a 3.6-liter V6 engine, which produces up to 295 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque. A 5.7-liter V8 engine, a 6.4-liter V8 engine, and a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine are also available for the new Durango. The most-powerful engine of the Durango lineup, the supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine, produces 710 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque for the SUV. Each of the engines delivers power through an eight-speed automatic transmission to either a rear-wheel drive drivetrain or an all-wheel drive drivetrain.
Interior and Comfort
The spacious interior of the new Dodge Durango is available with three rows of seats, which are capable of carrying up to seven occupants in the cabin of the SUV. With its rear seats folded, the Durango provides over 85 cubic-feet of cargo space. Paddle shifters are available for the steering wheel mount of the Durango, allowing drivers to quickly change the gears of the SUV.
